Fridge not cooling properly? Check your condenser coils. These need proper airflow to function correctly, so you'll want to make sure they aren't too close to the wall. Pull your refrigerator out from the wall to create at least several inches of space, and make sure there is nothing on top of the refrigerator that could inhibit airflow.
Freezer too warm? A defective defrost thermostat might be the culprit. You can check by testing the defrost thermostat with a multimeter tool. If the part doesn't test as good, it will need to be replaced.
Ice maker not making ice? When your ice maker isn't producing ice, the problem may be as simple as a frozen over water inlet valve. If that's the case, all you need to do is melt the ice to get your ice maker back on track. One simple way to get the blockage to melt is by thawing the water line with a hair dryer. You'll need to be careful not to melt any plastic parts with your hair dryer, though.
